My name is Giulia Mulè. I am a food and travel writer and photographer. I have been blogging for over 8 years!
In 2019, I moved to Wroclaw in Poland with my husband Sandy after living in London for 13 years. As a travel writer, it is great to have the opportunity to explore new culture and traditions and I am looking forward to discovering more of Poland and Eastern Europe. I travel to England regularly to see my brother and friends and to keep up to date with London’s restaurants.
I was born in Rome, Italy and I lived there until I was 25 years old. I always had a passion for traveling and curiosity for exploring the world, so after university I moved to New York to do an internship for 6 months. After that I won a scholarship to work in London and I have been here ever since.
My plan was to keep moving, but then I met Sandy and so I decided to stay. We got married in London, but we also had an Italian wedding in Rome and in Mumbai (my mehendi ceremony) in 2012.
Hitting the milestone of 10 years in London was an opportunity to reflect on my life in this country, especially after Brexit… I decided to stay and in 2018 I became a British citizen. Also in 2018, I took a 2-month sabbatical in Bali and it was one of the most transformative and soul-enriching experiences of my life!
Over the years I lived in London, I revived my love for photography and discovered a new passion for food and baking. I used to work as an Account Manager in advertising (sitting at a desk all day) so baking and photography became my hobbies and my way to keep my creativity alive.
